Tackle Hills and Mow Faster with Precision and Power

The Cub Cadet Ultima Z1 42 is built for homeowners who want to cut more grass in less time—especially across hills and uneven terrain. With a powerful 547cc Cub Cadet IntelliPOWER® engine, this mower is engineered to deliver up to 18% more available power, reducing bog-down in thick, tall, or wet grass.

Its 42-inch steel cutting deck features a deep dome design, smooth arc blades, and overlapping cut paths to produce a clean, signature cut. The dual hydrostatic transmissions allow for effortless zero-turn control and up to 7 MPH forward speed, helping you navigate tight spaces and large lawns efficiently.

The rugged 2×2 tubular steel frame enhances durability and ride stability, even on slopes up to 15 degrees, making it one of the most terrain-ready residential zero-turns available.
